FinEdge Payments Raises $12M Series A to Bring Same-Day Settlements to Independent Retailers

NEW YORK, N.Y. — February 18, 2026 — FinEdge Payments, the payments platform built for independent retailers, today announced it has raised $12 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Harborline Ventures, with participation from North Coast Capital and existing investor Bluepin Angels. The capital will fund FinEdge's same-day settlement rollout, an expansion of its point-of-sale integrations, and 30 new hires across engineering and support.

"Independent retailers wait two to three days for money they have already earned, and that gap decides whether they can make payroll or restock," said Amara Chen, CEO of FinEdge Payments. "This round lets us close that gap for every retailer on our platform by the end of the year."

FinEdge now processes payments for more than 4,200 independent retailers in 38 states, with transaction volume up 3.1x year over year. Same-day settlement, piloted with 300 stores in late 2025, reduced short-term borrowing among pilot retailers by a measurable margin, according to company data.

"FinEdge is solving the least glamorous and most expensive problem in small retail," said Marcus Webb, Partner at Harborline Ventures. "Their retention numbers look like infrastructure, not an app."

Including this round, FinEdge Payments has raised $17.5 million to date. Same-day settlements open to all customers in May 2026.

About FinEdge Payments

Editor's tips for this announcement type

  • Disclose the amount and lead investor — releases that hide them get a fraction of the pickup.
  • One traction number beats five adjectives. Revenue growth, customers or volume: pick the strongest and source it.
  • The investor quote must say something specific about the company, not the market in general.
  • Coordinate the embargo with your investors' own announcements so all coverage lands the same morning.
