Length: 400–600 words total. Shorter reads as thin; longer gets skimmed and cut. Headline: one line, factual, with the company name in it. Dateline: city in capitals, then state, then the date — before the first sentence, always. Quotes: one per person, two people maximum, and never a quote that a competitor could paste into their own release unchanged. Numbers: spell out one through nine, use figures for 10 and above (AP style), and attribute every statistic you did not produce yourself.
